Virginia Beach Vacation

This past week we spent in Virginia Beach with my parents and my brother, Troy, and his wife, Jackie. This was our second year heading there and it was a terrific vacation yet again. Our days were spent all together laughing, talking, and having a great time. Every morning we ventured out to the ocean where we relaxed, played in the sand, boogie boarded, or watched Troy surf. After lunch we retreated to the "kiddie pool" where we again relaxed, laid out, swam with Alex or just hung out. Dinners we spent going out to FABULOUS restaurants or eating at our condo. Evening time was consumed with none other than Michael Phelps or other olympians and a couple of family games. It was a great week spent with my family and I enjoyed every minute of it. It brought back many memories of traveling just the four of us and now we have 3 more very important, special people to share it with. It also, made me realize again just how much I miss my brother and Jackie as they are away in Virginia beach. But like all good things, it had to come to an end. We already are anxiously awaiting next summer for the 7 of us to have some more fun in the sun :)
