For the Fourth of July we went up north with Nick's family to his Aunt Kate's house. I always love going because no matter what is going on and how crazy it is up there the rest of the things we stress and think about at home seem to fade away for a weekend. As we get together with his family the times seem to get crazier, louder, and more fun. This year his sister, Melanie, and her husband Josh were there with their 3 little ones, Cameron (3 1/2), Gretchen (22 months) and Collin (7 months). The young kids love to run around, laugh, play with their grandparents and be silly. We spent time swimming in the lake, going to fireworks, and of course eating more food then we should. One day while the kids were napping the "adults" were able to float on floaties in the lake, which was extremely relaxing.
