Getting Ready for Max

This week we spent some time getting Max's room ready. The pictures make it hard to tell but its good enough. We still have some things to hang on the walls. Only 6 more weeks!

Family Times!

What a week it has been! We had some family in town from Florida and Texas this week and even though the weather was chilly it didn't stop us from having fun. We enjoyed a week of eating, playing games, going to the orchard, eating, watching sports, eating, going to soccer games, shopping and of course eating! We love being together and there is never a dull moment when we all get together. It is to bad all of us couldn't be here as then the real fun would have happened! I am so blessed to have such a close extended family! My aunt is like a 2nd mother and my cousin is like a sister! I love watching Alex play and interact with his2nd cousin and to see them with their great grandparents is a blessing! Other than that we are busy preparing for our upcoming winter which will be here before we know it and be even busier than we are now. I am about 11 weeks away from my due date for Max and I couldn't be more excited. I am nervous as to how it will change our family dynamic but I am sure it will only make it better. I can't wait to see Alex as a big brother as he is growing up daily! Here are some updated pictures of our lives lately!

Alex starts Preschool!

Alex started preschool this week. He goes 2 days a week in the mornings. We would like for him to go more but our schedules do not allow for it. Plus we think he will do fine next year in Kindergarten no matter what. His teacher is Mrs. Mason and he loves going and doing all sorts of things. This is a big year for him! He starts preschool, going to Cubbies at church, started AYSO soccer and becomes a big brother. We are so proud of him and love watching him grow!

Baby # 2 Is.................

Baby #2 is a boy! He is healthy and active and doing very well. His name at this time is going to be Maxwell David (Max). Alex is a little upset, he was hoping for a girl. We tried to prepare him for both but he was set on a girl. So this will take some adjustment. I will continue to be the only girl in my house! Here are some pictures of Max!

Memorial Day (long overdue)

For Memorial Day this year we headed up north with Nick's family. It is always a time filled with fun, laughs, craft show, games, and kids!! Nick's Aunt Kate is so nice to open up her home for all of us and our kids. The kids love going to see Aunt Kate! It was to chilly to go in the lake, however my guy Alex took a dip of his own. While under the supervision of his dad (haha jk) Alex fell of the dock into the lake. He emerged laughing and saying "oh great!" Due to my pregnancy I have been exhausted and spent a lot of the weekend napping. On that note I am feeling okay. I am not as sick as some however I have had many moments of being nauseated which is not fun. Bless Alex's little heart he helps me out so much. It has been nice that he can do most things himself while I am laying down. We are anxiously awaiting all the milestones with this pregnancy. Alex is convinced it is a girl. He has picked out names and is ready for a sister. We are preparing him that it could be either or but he says he "knows" it is a sister. We will see. Here are some updated pics.

Exciting News!

WE ARE EXPECTING!!! NIck, Alex and I are all very excited to announce that we will have a new addition to our family in January. Along with ALex's January birthday and Christmas it will make for a fun and crazy time of year. I have not been to my first doctor appointment so we do not know our official due date however, I believe it will be the beginning of January.
